When speaking with your vendors feel free to ask for testimonials. This will allow you to see words clients are saying about their vendors and their special day. A connection is key to ensure things go smoothly. Communication whether phone, text, email or social media is always a way to weed out the ones you are unsure of.
When posting on social media in the wedding groups or when sending a message to vendors please be sure to include: Name, contact information, date of event and what you are looking for. This allows the vendors that are not booked for your date to comment.
ALWAYS ASK for a contract. If a vendor does not offer a contract this could be a red flag. Contracts are legally binding documents that could help you in the event there is issues with your vendors.
