We offer a range of DJ services including weddings, proms, graduations, Christmas parties, birthdays, fundraisers and all day wedding services. We also offer custom packages to fit your unique needs. Lighting, special effects such as fog, bubbles and UV bubbles.

Event Essentials cost including all music licensing services, travel, and insurance. Digital files allows us to update our music to include the 1950's to todays current charts.   This licensing also pays royalties to the respective artists.    29 years of knowledge and experience allows us to make sure your day is flawless.

Our all-day wedding package include ceremony music with microphone, cocktail music, dinner music and reception with lighting.   A 5 page planner is included as well to help the day go seamlessly.

Socan (Venues responsibility)

 SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) requires users of music to obtain a SOCAN license to perform, or authorize others to perform, copyright music in public. Depending on the category a music user falls under, if at all, license fee may be payable on a per-event or annual basis.

 CONNECT Music Licensing Inc. (“CONNECT”) administers licenses in Canada for the reproduction of sound recordings, and the reproduction and broadcast of music videos, on behalf of the copyright owners.

When speaking with your vendors feel free to ask for testimonials.   This will allow you to see words clients are saying about their vendors and their special day. A connection is key to ensure things go smoothly.   Communication whether phone, text, email or social media is always a way to weed out the ones you are unsure of.

When posting on social media in the wedding groups or when sending a message to vendors please be sure to include: Name, contact information, date of event and what you are looking for.   This allows the vendors that are not booked for your date to comment.

ALWAYS ASK for a contract.   If a vendor does not offer a contract this could be a red flag.  Contracts are legally binding documents that could help you in the event there is issues with your vendors.  

ALWAYS READ your contract.   The contract should include information such as:

Contact details for client so the vendor can get in touch with you.

Venue location and contact information.

Financial obligations - non-refundable deposits and final balances.

What is included with each vendor.

Example - Venue

- Are use of the kitchen included and dishes

- Does the venue have a specific caterer you need to use?

- Does the venue allow outside catering companies?

- Setup & Teardown Times - confirm these dates and time.   Some venues allow setup the night before, or teardown must occur right after the event.

- Does your DJ carry backup equipment?

- Am I required to feed the DJ if there all day?

- Is your DJ licensed and insured?

- What does your DJ wear for the wedding or event?

- Does your photographer carry backup equipment?

- Does your photographer have galleries to view to see their work?

- How long should it take to receive teaser photographs?

- How long until I receive all of my edited photographs, prints or albums?

- Does your photographer include engagement session in their package?

There is never too many questions asked.  The right vendor will answer them all.
